Itinerary
Arrive at Guwahati Airport .Meet and Greet by our representative. Later transfer to Bhalukpong .En-route Option for Dolphin Watching on the Brahmaputra River ( Depend upon water level . Later proceed to Bhalukpung, a town on the Assam – Arunachal Pradesh border or – Nameri National Park is a biodiversity haven at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas of Assam. There are nearly 400 bird species to be found here. Check in at your hotel. Natures walk to the Jia Bhoreli (Kameng River) and back. Overnight at Bhalukpong / Nameri Nameri National Park
Morning we proceed for River Rafting on the Jia Bhoreli (Kameng River) (optional – Direct payment ) and/or Jungle Trekking (optional)|

Drive to Dirang. On the way visit Tipi Orchidarium situated on the banks of the river Bharali, a place over 500 orchids, on display there are some rare species of orchid. Arunachal has largest range of orchids in the country then take a break to visit Nag Temple. Continue your drive and do not forget to keep your cameras handy as you cross beautiful waterfalls and get some spectacular views.
On arrival check in to the hotel. Afternoon visit Apple orchard & Kiwi Farm (depending upon season), Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. Dirang is also famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments. Overnight stay at Dirang
Note: Every Indian tourist visiting Arunachal Pradesh has to obtain ILP (Inner Line Permit) at Bhalukpong border before entering the state against submission of photo identity card and two copies of passport size photographs.
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Tawang – the Land of Hidden Paradise (approx. 155 km / 6 hours). En route, cross the majestic Sela Pass, located at an altitude of 4,170 meters (13,700 feet). It is one of the highest motorable roads in India, offering stunning views, often covered in snow. Near the pass lies the beautiful, heart-shaped Sela Lake, surrounded by snow-capped peaks. In winter, the lake freezes, creating a magical landscape. Sela Pass, the main gateway to Tawang, is located about 78 km before the town.
Visit the Jaswant Garh War Memorial, located around 10 km ahead, built in honor of Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, who bravely fought against Chinese forces during the 1962 Indo-China war.
Stop at Jung Falls, also known as Nuranang Falls, a spectacular 100-meter-high waterfall. According to legend, it is named after a local Monpa girl, Nura, who assisted an Indian soldier during the 1962 war. The falls also featured in the Bollywood film Koyla, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit.
Later, drive approximately 40 km to reach Tawang. Upon arrival, check in to the hotel. The evening is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a same-day excursion to Sangestar Lake, Bum La Pass, and the Indo-China Border (subject to permission from the Indian Army).
To visit Bum La Pass (Indo-China Border), you must obtain a permit from the DC office in Tawang. Please note that a local taxi must be hired in Tawang on a direct payment basis, as outside vehicles are not permitted to access these areas.
Sangestar Lake, popularly known as Madhuri Lake, is set amidst picturesque valleys and snow-capped mountains along the route to Bum La Pass. You will also visit Pangateng Tso (P.Tso Lake), a serene high-altitude lake surrounded by the majestic Eastern Himalayas.
Bum La Pass is one of the four officially designated Border Personnel Meeting (BPM) points between the Indian Army and the People’s Liberation Army of China, and it is a perfect destination for snow lovers.
Return to Tawang. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay in Tawang
Morning, Drive to Bomdila.Bomdila is a picturesque town in the foothills of the Himalayas and the headquarter of West Kameng district,situated at a height of 8500 ft. One can view the brilliant landscape and snow-clad Gorichen ranges of the Himalayas on a clear day.On arrival, check-in to the hotel.Visit Bomdila Monastery, Bomdila View Point, Apple Orchards. Evening you can visit the local market. Overnight stay in Bomdila.
Morning after Breakfast, In time transfer to Guwahati Airport . ( Take your flight evening after 6 :00 pm )
