Itinerary
Upon arriving at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, also known as Guwahati Airport – the Gateway to North East India – and completing all customs formalities, please proceed to the exit gate. A Greenlimon Holidays representative will be waiting to greet you with a paging board displaying your name.
Later, drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, also known as the “Scotland of the East” (approximately 130 km / 3 hours). En route, visit Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, the largest artificial lake in the region. You have the option to enjoy water activities such as boating, angling, kayaking, and water skiing.
Upon arrival in Shillong, check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free, or you may explore the local market at Police Bazaar for shopping.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Wari Chora – the hidden paradise of India, En route, visit the famous Siju Caves –A Land Frozen in Time – is known for its marine fossil beds. Siju Dobakkol, also known as Siju Cave or Bat Cave, is one of the longest cave systems in Meghalaya and India. It is located between Nongalbibra and Baghmara and ranks among Asia’s longest cave systems. The cave is about 5 km from Duramong Siju Bazaar and is motorable up to 50 meters from the entrance. Nearby, just 150 meters from the cave entrance, lies the famous Dabat Wari in the Simsang River. After exploring the cave, proceed to Wari Chora, approximately 26 km (1 hour) away. Wari is village situated in the South Garo Hills.

Early in the morning, embark on an off-road journey of about 15 km to reach the starting point of the trek to Wari Chora, surrounded by the region’s stunning natural beauty. From there, a short 15–20-minute trek leads you to Wari Chora. Upon arrival, take a boat ride to enter the magnificent canyons, where sunlight filters through towering rocks as you gently row through the bluish-green, crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a serene boating experience on the turquoise waters of the Rongdik River or opt for an adventurous kayaking session through the breathtaking canyons. Capture stunning photos of dramatic cliffs and lush surroundings. After lunch, visit the Jadesil Fish Sanctuary, known for its clear waters and vibrant aquatic life. Later, return to the camp for an overnight stay.
Morning breakfast drive to Later, drive to Cherrapunjee, crossing the picturesque Mawkdok Dympep Valley, where you have the option to experience ziplining at an exhilarating height of 500 feet and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of the stunning landscape.

In the morning, drive to Tyrna village (approximately 45 minutes),From Tyrna village, you will climb down around 3,000 steps, crossing two small villages with shops that serve as refreshment stops. The trek takes you through beautiful green forests and across two iron rope bridges spanning a crystal-clear blue river, fed by the waters of the famous Nohkalikai Falls. You can enjoy swimming in the natural ponds along the way. Later, proceed to the village of Nongriat to witness its amazing little root bridge. From here, catch a glimpse of the majestic 250-year-old Double-Decker Living Root Bridge and spend some time exploring the area. You also have the option to extend your hike to Rainbow Falls. After breakfast Return to Tyrna village by climbing back up the 3,000 steps. At the end of the climb, take some time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the stunning views of the Khasi Hills.
Upon arrival in Cherrapunjee, visit the Seven Sisters Falls, also known as Nohsngithiang Falls, where seven different streams cascade down the cliffs. Then, marvel at the majestic Nohkalikai Falls, one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India.
Later, visit Mawsmai Cave, renowned as one of the longest and most beautiful natural limestone caves in the country, featuring thousands of unique formations.
Rest of the day is free . Overnight stay at Cherrapunji .
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Mawlynnon (Approx 90 Kms / 3 Hour known as ‘God’s Own Garden,’ Mawlynnong was declared the cleanest village in Asia by Discover India magazine in 2003. Upon arrival, explore the pristine village and experience its spotless surroundings and charming atmosphere.
Later, proceed to the famous Living Root Bridge, about a 10-minute drive from the village. this natural bridge is formed by the intertwining roots of rubber trees growing on either side of a stream. Afterwards, continue the journey to Dawki, a small town located near the India-Bangladesh border.
Visit the Dawki River, also known as the Umngot River, renowned for its crystal-clear waters offers a memorable boating experience. At Shnongpdeng, about 8 km from Dawki, you can enjoy various adventure activities such as scuba diving, rafting, zip lining, boating, camping, and angling.
Overnight stay at Shnongpdeng Camp .
After breakfast , In time transfer to Guwahati Airport for onward journey.
