Shillong Kaziranga Guwahati Tour

On arrival at Guwahati Airport. It’s also known as Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport. Meet and Greet by Greenlimon Holidays Representative. Later transfer to Shillong- The capital of Meghalaya among the most popular hill stations in India. Approx 130 kms / 3 ½ Hours one way journey . En-route visit Umiam Lake also known as Barapani is the biggest artificial lake in Meghalaya. Option for sport activity boating, Angling, Kayaking and Water Skiing. Later proceed to Shillong. After breakfast at the hotel drive to Cherrapunjee one of the wettest places on the earth, it will take approx 60 kms/2 Hrs one-way journey for a marvelous day trip. En-route visit Elephant fall- ThreeSteps Water Falls’ waterfall set in the dingles of the rocks. Stop at Shillongpeak highest points in the state which offers a mesmerizing view of the Hills. Later drive to Cherrapunjee crossing beautiful Mawkdok Dympep Valley –you have Option for Ziplining adventure at height of 500 Feet and enjoy the Bird’s eye view of the valley. On arrival at Cherrapunjee visits Seven Sisters fall as known as Nohsngithiang Falls seven different streams waterfalls. Nohkalikai falls one of the tallest plunge waterfalls in India. Later walk inside the Mawsmai Cave the Longest and most stunning caves in India. The Natural limestone cave is a natural wonder with thousand formations inside it. Later proceed to Shillong. After breakfast at the Hotel proceed to Mwallynong approx 100 km/ 3 Hours one-way journey. In 2003 the cleanest village in Asia declared by the travel magazine Discover India. It’s also known as ‘God’s own Garden’. After the visit, the cleanest village proceeds to living-root bridge approx 10 min driver from Mwallynong. Living- Root Bridge locally known as jing kieng jri is the natural bridge made of rubber tree grown on either side of the stream. The roots have grown for several years making the living root bridge stronger by each year. Later drive to Dawki is a small town located in India- Bangladesh Border. Visit Dawki River also known as Umngot River famous for its crystal a clear water option for Adventure activities like Scuba diving, Rafting, Zip lining, Boating, Camping, and Angling. After Breakfast at the Hotel. Drive to Kaziranga National Park approx 295 Kms/ 7-8 Hours one-way journey. A UNESCO World Heritage Site – Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros Upon arrival at Kaziranga National Park. Check-In hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at Kaziranga National park.

Kaziranga National Park area of 430 sq km is one of the oldest parks located on the of the Brahmaputra River a UNESCO World Heritage Site – Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros. It is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses. Kaziranga National Park is open from 1st November – 30th April.

Early morning wake-up call half an hour before the ride. 1st ride 5.00 am to 6.00 am and 2nd ride 6: 30 am to 7.30 am . Subject to operation and allotment from the forest department. Elephant ride duration is approx 45 minutes. Return to Hotel. After breakfast proceed for Jeep Safari. Jeep safari timing morning 7am to 10am and Jeep safari in the evening 2 pm to 3 pm The park has 3 ranges- Central range / Western range / Eastern range and the duration of jeep safari is approximately 2 hours only. Later enjoy Local Village & Tea Garden (Outer View) tour.

In evening enjoy cultural show organized by local youth Cultural show in open field They usually organize 3 to 5 types of cultural dance along with famous Bihu dance. Return to Hotel. Dinner and Overnight in Kaziranga.

After breakfast at the hotel drive to Guwahati approx 5 Hours one-way journey. Upon arrival at Guwahati. Check-In hotel. Lunch at the hotel and rest at the hotel for an hour. Later visit Kamakhya Temple One of the Shakti Peeth temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya. (Temple doors remain open for devotees in the following timings – 08:00 am to 01:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.) You can buy VIP Pass available at INR 500 in the temple. In Evening enjoys a River cruise over the river Brahmaputra (cruise charges additional). Timing 7.30 pm-9.30 Pm The two-hour Dinner Cruise aboard the Alfresco Grand is the perfect way to take in Guwahati’s beautiful river scenery while enjoying delicious meals. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, at an appropriate time, you will be assisted & transferred to Guwahati airport to board the flight for onward journey.
