Itinerary
The journey starts with a 01:00 PM departure from Bicholi (Indore) Helipad and arrival at Mandhata (Omkareshwar) Helipad at 01:25 PM. After arrival, our ground staff will escort the yatris to Shree Omkareshwar Temple for darshan.
Shri Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga, the fourth among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Loard Shiva, is located on the northern bank of the Narmada River.
After the temple visit, guests will return to the helipad at 02:45 PM for the 03:00 PM helicopter departure. The flight will reach Ujjain (Police Line) Helipad at 03:50 PM.
After arrival, you can proceed for local darshan in Ujjain and an overnight stay.
Report early (around 1:00 AM -3:00 AM) at the temple, as late arrivals are denied entry.
Shri Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain is one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India.
The Ritual (4:00 AM – 6:00 AM): Jalabhishek (3:15 AM – 4:00 AM): Opening of Doors: The doors open at 4:00 AM, beginning with the waking of the deity. Panchamrit Abhishekam: The deity is bathed with water, milk, curd, ghee, and honey. Shringar: The Lingam is decorated with various pastes and chandan. Bhasma Offering: Priests apply the sacred ash (Vibhuti) to the Shiva Lingam, symbolising the cyclical nature of life and death, accompanied by loud mantra chanting. Aarti & Conclusion: The ceremony ends with the offering of lights/lamps (Aarti) and distribution of prasad. Seating: Ganesh Mandapam offers seating
After the temple visit, guests will depart for the helipad and proceed towards Bicholi (Indore) Helipad.
