Itinerary
On arrival at Cochin Airport and drive to Munnar (04 Hrs drive). On the way enjoy some waterfalls and natural scenic spots. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar
After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Overnight stay in Hotel, Munnar
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs) on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady – one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest.
Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978.
Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay in Hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Madurai; on arrival check-in into hotel. Afternoon .Visit Sree Meenakshi Temple, one of the most prominent temple dedicated to Lord Shiva who was known here as Sundareshvara and his wife Parvati or Meenakshi, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, a magnificent palace that was built by King Thirumalai Nayak with valuable assistance of an Italian architect in the year 1636. Breakfast at Hotel. Later proceed to Rameshwaram which is revered as “South Kasi”. Witness the stunning architecture of the Pamban Bridge. Upon arrival at Rameshwaram . Check In Hotel .Visit the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, located on the island town of Rameshwaram. It is one of the four sacred Char Dhams in India. It also has a honour of being one of India’s 12 Jyotirlingas.. There are 22 such theerthams in Rameshwaram. Hindus believe that a bath in all of these theerthams will wash away our sins. Also visit Agni Theertham, Floating stone which is believed to have been used during the construction of Rama Sethu Bridge when Lord Rama and his battalions wanted to cross the sea, Ramar Patham which is believed to be the imprint of Lord Rama’s feet during his visit here Overnight at Rameshwaram
Breakfast at Hotel. Proceed to Kanyakumari – It is also known as Cape Comorin, Kumari and Kumari Munai. This is a ‘rocky mainland‘ on the Indian Ocean in the State of Tamil Nadu and located at the Southern Most tip of the Indian Subcontinent. Upon arrival Check In hotel . Later visit .visit Kumari Amman temple, Swami Vivekananda Memorial and Suchithram Temple at Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is popular because it is the only places on earth, where you can see the Sun Rise and Sun Set from the ocean. It is the only place in India where one can enjoy the unique spectacle of Sunset and Moonrise simultaneously on full moon days.

Breakfast at Hotel. Later proceed to Kovalam en- route, you can visit the stunning Padmanabhapuram Palace. Built by the Maharaja of Travancore in the 15th century, this wooden palace is an architectural marvel in its own. Later visits Sree Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple .It is dedicated to Lord Anantha, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Thiruvananthapuram literally means “The land of Lord Anantha”. It is one of the wealthiest temples in the world.
Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight stay at Hotel.
After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising, let your eyes settle for the bowed-down paddy fields, local inhabitants, rustic homes, ancient churches / temples and swaying coconut groves. Food will be served onboard. After breakfast check out from the House Boat . In time transfer to Cochin Airport .
