Overview
The Jagannath Puri Rath Yatra 2027 will commence on Monday, July 5 (Ashadha Shukla Dwitiya) and conclude with the Bahuda Yatra on July 13, marking the deities’ annual visit to the Gundicha Temple.This grand nine-day festival marks the journey of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra to the Gundicha Temple, with massive chariots pulled along the Grand Road (Bada Danda)
Itinerary
Arrive at Bhubaneswar airport, assistance and transfer to hotel. Post lunch visitthe temples of Bhubaneswar like, Parasurameswar Temple (7th Century AD.), Mukteswar Temple ( 10th Century AD.), Rajarani Temple ( 11th Century AD.) and Lingaraj Temple ( 11th Century AD).Also visit nearby Bindusagarlake.Overnight in Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast drive to Puri on the way visiting the famous Sun Temple at Konark, a UNESCO World Heritage site, later walk to visit fishermen village. Overnight at Hotel in Puri
After breakfast take a tuktuk to go as near as possible to Lord Jagannatha temple. Enjoy the festivities & mood of dedicated devotees and the Grand chariot festival till evening. Come back to hotel for overnight stay.
(On supplement Cost in this day on the rooftop of Puri King’s palace or nearby Roof top, you can have chairs to witness the Chariot Festival with Lunch and soft drinks, time to time)
After breakfast in time departure transfer to Bhubaneswar airport to catch your afternoon flight for onward journey.

- Lot of restrictions of vehicle Movement in Puri City. So Walking is a must inside Puri Town

- Bahuda Yatra is the grand return chariot festival, held nine days after Rath Yatra, when Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra return from Gundicha Temple to the Jagannath Temple
- Bahuda Yatra is expected to start between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, subject to the Temple Management’s decision.
