Itinerary
Upon arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport, also known as Bhubaneswar Airport, in the state of Odisha, you will be met and greeted by our Greenlimon Holidays representative. Later, drive to Puri (approximately 60 km / 2 hours). Also known as Jagannath Puri, this coastal city is home to the sacred Jagannath Temple, one of the four holy Dhams.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Note: Standard Check-In Time – 8:00 AM | Check-Out Time – 7:00 AM
In the evening, Spend time at Golden Beach and witness an amazing sunset. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Puri.
Morning visit the Lord Jagannath Temple The temple is open for darshan (viewing the deity) from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Best time to visit the temple for darshan.

Shree Jagannath Dham, Puri, is the eternal abode of Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe, also popularly known as Mahaprabhu. Hindu scriptures honor Him as Purushottama, the Supreme Divine Being. Puri is one of the four sacred Dhams of India, as established by Adi Shankaracharya—the others being Dwarka, Badrinath, and Rameswaram. Built in the 15th century AD, the Jagannath Temple, adorned with Vishnu’s wheel (Sudarshana Chakra) and flag, dominates the landscape of Puri.
After the ritual, return to the hotel. After breakfast, drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Sun Temple at Konark (approx. 35 km / 1 hour). Where The Language of Stone Surpasses The Language of Man The 13th-century Sun Temple was built by King Narasimhadeva I as a colossal chariot for the Sun God, featuring 24 intricately carved wheels and seven stone horses.
Konark hosts two major festivals:
- Konark Dance Festival (Dec 1–5)
- Chandrabagha Mela (January)
Also visit the famous Chandrabhaga Beach, located approximately 3 km from the Sun Temple. Return hotel .In the evening, Spend time the long stretch of golden beach which is shallow enough to walk a long distance and offers superb surf. Overnight stay will be at Puri.
Morning drive to Chilika Lake – Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon Largest wintering ground for migratory birds and is home to a large number of endangered plant and animal species. Boat Cruise in the largest brakish water lagoon of Asia and explore Sea mouth, Rajhans Island, rare Irrawady dolphins, local birds etc. Timings: 6 AM to 6 PM. Best time to Visit: November to March .Boating in Chilika Lake typically takes around 3-4 hours, depending on the route and boat type
After Lunch drive to Gopalpur .
Gopalpur Beach, on the Bay of Bengal, offers a pristine, quiet shoreline ideal for swimming and relaxation. With clean sand, warm waters, and a soothing breeze, it’s perfect for peaceful getaways—except during the monsoon.

Note: Flanked with coconut and casuarina groves Gopalpur is a perfect outing for a languorous weekend. However, it’s worth noting that, this region is equipped with very limited options, facilities & basic amenities. And, if you are a vegetarian, you should be mentally prepared for the limited food options.
After breakfast drive to Chandragiri, a Tibetan refugee colony known as Mini Tibet, situated in between the lush green forest – a unique Destination for the Buddhist. We can visit Jirang Monastery one of the largest Buddhist Monastery in Southeast Asia. Later Proceed to Taptapani the hot sulphur water spring. On the way back to Gopalpur visit Padmanavpur cotton Sari weaving village. Evening free for independent activities. Overnight stay will be at Gopalpur
After breakfast Check-out from hotel and transfer to Bhubaneswar. En-route visit the unique textile village at Olasing famous for Khandua Pattern Kosa Silk Sari and Cotton Sari. On arrival check-in at hotel. After fresh up visit the temples of temple city such as Parasurameswar, Mukteswara, Rajarani and Brahmeswar. Overnight stay will be at Bhubaneswar.
After breakfast visit the Lingaraj Temple – The Symbol of Syncretisation of Odia culture. Standing tall at 180 feet, this 11th-century temple is one of India’s finest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Temple timings: 6:00 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
Later, transfer to Bhubaneswar Airport for your onward journey.
