Plan 4-Day Bhubaneswar–Konark–Puri–Chilika Tour Package, known as the Golden Triangle Tour of Odisha. It covers the Puri Temple, Konark Sun Temple, and Chilika Lake.
Itinerary
Upon arrival at Biju Patnaik International Airport, also known as Bhubaneswar Airport, in the state of Odisha, you will be met and greeted by our Greenlimon Holidays representative. Later, drive to Puri (approximately 60 km / 2 hours). Also known as Jagannath Puri, this coastal city is home to the sacred Jagannath Temple, one of the four holy Dhams.
Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
Note: Standard Check-In Time – 8:00 AM | Check-Out Time – 7:00 AM
In the evening, Spend time at Golden Beach and witness an amazing sunset. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Puri.
Morning visit the Lord Jagannath Temple The temple is open for darshan (viewing the deity) from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Best time to visit the temple for darshan.

Shree Jagannath Dham, Puri, is the eternal abode of Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe, also popularly known as Mahaprabhu. Hindu scriptures honor Him as Purushottama, the Supreme Divine Being. Puri is one of the four sacred Dhams of India, as established by Adi Shankaracharya—the others being Dwarka, Badrinath, and Rameswaram. Built in the 15th century AD, the Jagannath Temple, adorned with Vishnu’s wheel (Sudarshana Chakra) and flag, dominates the landscape of Puri.
After breakfast drive to Chilika Lake – Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, is the largest wintering ground for migratory birds and is home to a wide variety of endangered plant and animal species. Enjoy a boat cruise through this vast lagoon and explore the sea mouth, Rajhans Island, rare Irrawaddy dolphins, local bird species, and more.

After breakfast drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site – Sun Temple at Konark (approx. 35 km / 1 hour). Where The Language of Stone Surpasses The Language of Man The 13th-century Sun Temple was built by King Narasimhadeva I as a colossal chariot for the Sun God, featuring 24 intricately carved wheels and seven stone horses.
En – route visit Chandrabhaga beach the first in Asia to get the Blue Flag certification — the tag given to environment-friendly and clean beaches, equipped with amenities of international standards for tourists.
Later proceed to Bhubaneswar approx 66 Kms / 1 :30 Hours . Upon arrival ,Check In Hotel . Later visit the Lingaraj Temple – The Symbol of Syncretisation of Odia culture. Standing tall at 180 feet, this 11th-century temple is one of India’s finest Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Temple timings: 6:00 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm.

Important Info
The parking area is 300mtrs away from the Konark temple.
- The parking area is 2kms away from the Jagannath temple. From there one can hire an auto rickshaw/ cycle rickshaw/ battery auto rickshaw to Jagannath temple.
- For Jagannath temple, Devotees must wear decent clothes to enter the shrine. Wearing half pants, shorts, torn jeans, ripped jeans, skirts & sleeveless dresses are not permitted.
- Advisable dress for Male- Full pant/Jeans with shirt/T-shirt, Chudidar-Punjabi, Dhoti. For Female- Jeans with Kurtis covering elbow, Sharee, Salwar Kameez etc.
- Mobile phones, cameras, leather items, bags, tobacco masala, paan masala, Polythene & plastic etc. are not allowed inside the Jagnnath & Lingaraj temple premises.
- At Jagannath temple & Lingaraj temple we have our Panda, who will escort you inside the temple premises, on request.
- There are no facilities of any special darshan tickets/ separate queue for senior citizens at Jagannath & Lingaraj temple. Therefore, it is advisable not to carry any valuable (ornaments) with you for safety.
- Do not bathe at any beach of Bay of Bengal during full moon & new moon day.
- Advisable to hire battery cars at Nandankanan Zoological Park for senior citizens, while visiting.
- As per recent Govt. notification all guests need to submit valid ID proof like DL, Passport, Voter’s Card, Aadhar at the time of hotel check-in. Foreign guests need to fill-up ‘Form C’ at the time of check-in. PAN is not accepted as ID proof.
