Jagannath Puri Odisha
Puri, in Odisha, is renowned for the sacred Shri Jagannath Temple and its long golden beach. It is one of the four holy Dhams in India—alongside Dwarika, Badrinath, and Rameswaram. Lord Jagannath, along with sister Devi Subhadra and brother Balabhadra, is worshipped here on the Ratna Simhasana (Bejeweled Throne). Built in the 12th century by King Ananta Varman Chodaganga Deva, the temple is a masterpiece of Kalinga architecture. Puri celebrates many festivals, the most famous being the grand Rath Yatra (Car Festival), attracting devotees from around the world
