Itinerary
Upon arriving at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, also known as Guwahati Airport – the Gateway to North East India – and completing all customs formalities, please proceed to the exit gate. A Greenlimon Holidays representative will be waiting to greet you with a paging board displaying your name.
Later transfer to hotel . Upon arrival ,check In hotel . Overnight stay at Guwaharti
After an early breakfast at hotel, you will be taken to Garbhanga reserve forest – a beautiful forest close to Guwahati city rich in woodland birds and animals like leopard and Asiatic elephant. Then visit Boragaon dumping ground to see the greater adjutant. Afternoon will visit Deepor Bill – a RAMSAR site and end your day with a stunning sunset view. Return to Guwahati hotel
Post breakfast proceed to Dodora a village where the movement for Hargila (greater Adjutant stork)
conservation was started, interact with the Hargila Army and know how a group of village women are trying to conserve the Greater Adjutant Stork – an IUCN Red list of threatened species. Then proceed to Manas National Park.
Manas National Park, located in Assam’s Bodoland region across Baksa and Chirang districts at the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas, is a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, a Project Tiger reserve, an elephant reserve, a biosphere reserve, and a wildlife sanctuary. Spanning 950 sq km along the Manas River and bordering Bhutan’s Royal Manas National Park, it forms the core of the Manas Tiger Reserve. The park is home to rare species like the Assam roofed turtle, hispid hare, golden langur, and pygmy hog, and is divided into three main ranges — Bansbari, Panbari, and Bhuiapara.
Panbari (Western Zone): A favorite among birdwatchers, this zone offers great sightings of wildlife and diverse bird species. It’s also a good spot for a peaceful picnic.
Bhuyanpara (Eastern Zone): Known for its dense forests and scenic landscapes, this zone is ideal for safaris to spot birds, animals, and unique vegetation.
Bansbari (Central Zone): The most popular zone for safaris, where endangered species are often seen. It also hosts our hotel, offering birdwatching and scenic views.
Kuklung Zone: A newer zone great for spotting clouded leopards, golden langurs, elephants, and tigers. A watchtower here offers excellent wildlife viewing.

The elephant safari is conducted only in the Bansbari range and lasts for one hour. It is available in two slots: 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM.
The elephant safari is a top activity in Manas, offering a unique way to explore the dense forest. Scheduled in the early morning, it lets you experience hidden gems and enjoy the beauty of the park.

Jeep safaris in Manas National Park are available in the Bhuyanpara and Bansbari ranges, guided by forest guards and trained drivers for the best wildlife sightings.
Jeep safaris are conducted in three slots—6:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 2:00 PM—each lasting around 3 hours.

Nameri National Park, nestled at the Himalayan foothills along the Jia Bhoroli River, is known for its rich wildlife, including tigers, bisons, and the rare White-winged Wood Duck. The park’s deciduous forests are a haven for birdwatchers, home to hornbills, eagles, falcons, and a wide variety of forest birds.

Day long jungle activity – including trekking and river rafting.
Start your day early at 5:30 AM with a 3 km walk through Nameri National Park. This is one of the few parks in India where you can trek inside the park. The walk begins with a short boat ride across the Jia Bhoroli River. After crossing, you’ll walk along the riverbed and into the park — the closest you can get to nature!
Return to the camp after breakfast drive upstream along the river to the starting point, from where we will enjoy a downstream rafting experience on inflatable rafts (at an additional cost). The rafting on the Nameri River, organized by local community members, offers a day-long adventure with mild rapids as you cruise along the waters of the Jia Bhoroli River. The 2.5-hour rafting journey will introduce you to numerous bird species along the way
Overnight stay at Nameri Eo Camp
Today will go to explore another wildlife sanctuary in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Pake wild life sanctuary is situated in Arunachal Pradesh and is famous for some woodland birds and animals.
Covering 862 sq km between the Kemeng and Pakke Rivers, this sanctuary is a rich wildlife haven. It shelters tigers, leopards, wild dogs, elephants, and deer, along with vibrant birdlife like hornbills, pheasants, and the rare White-winged Wood Duck. Reptiles such as pythons and cobras also thrive here. The lush forest features towering Hoolock trees, bamboos, orchids, pines, and rhododendrons.
Afternoon back to Nameri and stay overnight at Nameri eco camp.
Today will take drive towards the eastern part of Assam and reach Lakhimpur to break the journey towards Dibang wildlife sanctuary of Arunachal Pradesh.
Dibang Wildlife Sanctuary is located fully or partly within Dihang-Dibang Biosphere Reserve.Rare mammals such as Mishmi Takin, Red Goral, Musk Deer (at least two species), red panda, Asiatic black bear, occasional Tiger and Gongshan muntjac occur while among birds there are the rare Sclater’s monal and Blyth’s tragopan.
Upon arrival check in to a birding camp or a homestay
After breakfast, will drive towards Tinsukia an eastern most town of Assam and continue your drive towards Mehao wildlife sanctuary of Lower Dibang valley of Arunachal Pradesh.
Overnight stay at Dibang valley jungle camp
Full day wildlife activity – mostly trekking and bird watching at Mishimi hills of Mehao wildlife sanctuary.

Have breakfast, and then drive back to Tinsukia, Assam. Upon arrival at Maguri camp (Tinsukia) check in to your camp and later can go around the camp.

Today will explore the Dibru Saikhowa national park.
Dibru-Saikhowa National Park is a biodiversity hotspot known for its stunning landscapes—ranging from swampy marshes to semi-evergreen forests. It’s a paradise for birders, home to over 350 species including the rare Jerdon’s Bushchat, Black-breasted Parrotbill, and Marsh Babbler. The park’s grasslands and wetlands also host rare sightings like Baer’s Pochard, Bengal Florican, and Falcated Duck, making it a must-visit for serious birdwatchers.
Afternoon, you can visit the Assamese villages near to your camp.

Breakfast at camp and drive to Dehing Patkai national park
Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary, part of the larger Dehing Patkai Elephant Reserve in Upper Assam, is known as the Jeypore Rainforest. Nestled between the Dehing River and Patkai Hills, it features lush Assam Valley Tropical Wet Evergreen Forests. The sanctuary is the only one in India home to seven species of wild cats, including the tiger and clouded leopard. Other rare fauna include the Chinese pangolin, Malayan giant squirrel, and the endangered White-winged Wood Duck.
Afternoon, back to camp. Overnight stay at Maguri eco camp
After breakfast, check-out and proceed to Hollongapar Gibbon sanctuary formerly know as Gibbon wildlife sanctuary is a isolated protected area of evergreen forest.
Gibbon Wildlife Sanctuary, located in Assam’s Jorhat district, is a small 20 sq km forest surrounded by tea gardens. It was established to protect India’s only ape—the Hoolock Gibbon. The sanctuary is home to around 40 mammal species, including Capped Langurs, Stump-tailed and Pigtail Macaques, Assamese and Rhesus Macaques, and the Slow Loris

This morning, will trek through the tall Hollong trees and try to spot the different wildlife of the sanctuary.
After Lunch proceed to Kaziranga National Park approx. 2 :30 Hours
Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, is home to over 75% of the world’s Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceroses. Located on the southern bank of the Brahmaputra River, it also shelters tigers, elephants, wild buffaloes, and over 400 bird species

Wake up in early morning tea or coffee serve proceed to kazirang National Park for 01 Elephant Safari (Optional and subject to availability) followed with by 01 Jeep Safari post breakfast. Post lunch enjoy another Jeep Safari.
Enjoy a 45-minute elephant safari—perfect for spotting one-horned rhinos and wild elephants up close through tall grass, with great photo ops in the misty central range.

Jeep Safaris are permitted on pre-defined tourist circuits within Kaziranga National Park- currently at the following four points. Each of these circuits takes about one and half to two and half hour
- Central Range (Kohora), offers diverse habitats and great mammal and bird sightings.
- Eastern Range Agaratoli), is rich in water birds, including pelican colonies.
- Western Range(Bagori), has the highest rhino density and frequent raptor sightings
- Burapahar (Ghorakati).

In evening enjoy cultural show you have options, as some local youth organized Cultural show in Kohora in auditorium They usually organize 3 to 5 types of cultural dance along with famous Bihu dance. Overnight in Kaziranga.
After breakfast , In time transfer to Guwhati Airport
