The Phyang Tsedup Festival is a vibrant two-day Buddhist festival held in July–August 2027 at Phyang Monastery, about 17 km from Leh. Celebrated with great enthusiasm, it features masked ‘Cham’ dances by monks, special prayers, and the display of the sacred Thangka of Jigten Gombo. Devotees from across India and abroad gather to witness the colorful rituals, cultural performances, and spiritual teachings of Gautam Buddha.
