Itinerary

On arrival at Lilabari airport is the nearest airport to the Itanagar approx 57 Kms- The capital of Arunachal Pradesh. Inner Line Permit for Indian citizen and Protected Area Permit for Foreign National are mandatory to enter Arunachal Pradesh. Meet and greet by Greenlimon Holidays Representative. Drive to Ziro approx 167 kms / Approx 6 Hours . one of the most traditional areas in Arunachal Pradesh. Ziro is home to the Apatani tribes and it is located in an extremely picturesque valley called Apatani Plateau surrounded by pine-covered mountains.. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Ziro.

Breakfast at Hotel. Visit Apatani villages .the Apatani tribes themselves are Ziro’s greatest attraction. The older men folk tie the hair in top-knots and tattoo the faces. Apatani women wear wooden nose plugs and tattooed their faces. . The Apatani are good cultivators and practice both wet and terrace cultivation. Paddy cum fish culture is very popular among them. Later proceed to Talley Valley Reserved Forest and Talle Wildlife sanctuary is situated at an elevated level with rivers like Pange, Sipu, Karing and Subansiri flowing through the Reserved Forest and Sanctuary. It is home to highly endangered species like clouded leopard. Pleioblastus simone is a bamboo variety only found in Talley Valley. Dinner and Overnight at Ziro.

After breakfast at hotel drive to Daporijo Approx 175 kms/ 7 hrs. is the headquarters of Upper Subansiri district situated by the side of the Subansiri River. Enroute visit Hill Miri villages on the way. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel. Dinner and Overnight stay at Daporijo.

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Daporijo – The small scenic town where one can see suspension bridges over Subansiri River made from bamboo and cane – a testimony of rich tribal craftsmanship. Home of the Tagin tribes. Tagin are generally adherents of Donyi Polo although two groups of Tagin–the Nga and Mara have come under the influence of Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetan Buddhist influence among these sections of the Tagin was a result of migration of Tibetans from the north in the 18th century as well as visits by Buddhist missionaries of the Nyingma sect who paid tribute to the chiefs as a result of Tibetan settlement in their land. After morning breakfast at hotel proceed to Aalo 161 Kms/ 6 Hours also known as along. – Land of Adi and Adi Gallonng People.The Adis by nature are democratic and have an organized village council called Kebang. Their traditional dance called Ponung is famous all over Arunachal Pradesh. Adi villages are situated generally on the spurs of hills. Polyandy is practiced here (one wife multiple husbands–usually a woman marries brothers). Adi women are very good weavers and weave cloth with highly artistic designs. We shall visit several villages today including Kabu, Paya and Pobdi which all remain quite traditional. Mopin is the main festival starts from 5 April to 6 April, people celebrate Mopin for rich crops cultivation and to blessed by nature. The Yomgo River Festival, held every year during peak tourist season, and lasting 3–4 days, is celebrated from 11 January to 15 January – Dinner and Overnight stay at Aalo.

Breakfast at hotel . Proceed for full days excursion at Along exploring Adi villages – It is situated near Assam’s border – The valley is picturesque surrounded by mountains with rivers flowing through them – The place has various attractions like Kane Wildlife Sanctuary, which is situated here, houses wild species such as elephants and deer – The Hanging Bridge on River Siang is made of cane and bamboo – One would go river rafting and trekking if you are keen to have some activity to challenge your physical ability – Evening free to stroll around the market area – Dinner and Overnight stay at Aalo

After morning breakfast drive to Pasighat approx 150 Kms/ 5 Hours . – Land of Pasi & Minniyiong Tribe – En-route enjoy the great view of Great Siang &Siyom confluence – The origin of Great river Brahmaputra – Visit Minnyiong villages – Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hotel. In evening is free for local market – Dinner and Overnight stay at Pasighat

After morning breakfast drive to Dibrugarh. En-route we drive by India’s longest rail cum road bridge – The Bogibeel Bridge built over the mighty Brahmaputra River. Upon arrival at the hotel, proceed for check-in at the hote. Later we take a tea tour around a tea estate known for producing high quality teas i.e. Ethelwold Tea Estate. Dinner and Overnight stay at Dibrugarh

Breakfast at hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. In times transfer to kushinagar Airport for onward journey
