Morning proceed to Parshuram Kund- Parshuram kund located in the scenic Dibang valley is a natural water body fed by the Lohit river.The origin of the kund is associated with Parashuram’s matricide described in the Srimad Bhagvat, Kalikapurana and in the Mahabharata. It is believed that taking a dip in the holy water of this lake cleanses one from their sin. Every Year, on the day of Makar Sankranti in the month of Magha (usually January 14), pilgrims in thousands from various part of the country visit the place for a holy dip .Later return to Dibrugarh.

Breakfast at hotel. Proceed to same day excursion Malinithan Mandir and Akashiganga Temple, Likabali ( 1 ½ Hours one way ) . The temple dedicated to Goddess Durga at Malinithan is built on the classical tradition of Orissa. Located near Likabali city of Arunachal Pradesh. The site excavated has beautifully designed and decorated basement of a temple, divine images, icons of deities, animal motifs and floral designs, carved columns and panels. Later proceed to Akashiganga Temple one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peeths of maa Sati . Akashiganga located at 12 km from Malinithan in West Siang District in Likabali Town . Akashiganga is believed to be associated with the legend of Parvati narrated in the 8th century Kalika Purana. It is said that Lord Shankar roamed in the sky with the dead body of Parvati (Sati). To bring him out of attachment for the dead body Lord Vishnu using his ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ cut the body into pieces .It is ritualistic here to take bath in adjacent sacred pond (especially during Makar Sankranti) before seeking blessings from goddess. Return to Dibrugarh .Overnight stay at Dibrugarh.
