Itinerary
Upon arriving at Dibrugarh Airport, also known as Mohanbari Airport, is located about 15 km northeast of Dibrugarh town in Assam. Set along the Brahmaputra River and surrounded by tea gardens, Dibrugarh is known as the ‘Tea City of India’ and is the country’s largest tea-exporting town.

Today after breakfast drive to Aalo (Approx 210 kms/07 hrs) (formerly Along) is the headquarters of West Siang District in Arunachal Pradesh. Nestled at the confluence of the Sipu and Siyom rivers, it offers scenic views, tribal villages like Darka and Kabu, and attractions like Patum Bridge. Aalo is also a base for trekking, hiking, and angling, and serves as the gateway to Menchuka, known for its snow-capped mountains in winter.

Early morning drive to Mechuka (07-08 hrs). Mechuka Valley, located in the remote West Siang district near the India-China border, is known for its untouched natural beauty. The Siyom River flows through the valley, surrounded by snow-capped mountains. A major attraction is the 400-year-old Mechuka Monastery. The valley is home to the Memba, Ramo, and Bokhar tribes, with the Membas—followers of Nyingmapa Tibetan Buddhism—living in the upper valley. They speak Tshangla and use the Hikor script, derived from Tibetan., Mechuka offers stunning winter views and a unique cultural experience.
En-route visit Kaying and Tato villages for tribal interactions. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Mechuka .
Full day explore Mechuka. We visit Amten Yongcha Monastery (400-year-old Buddhist monastery), Guru Nanak Taposthan – a holy Sikh site, Dorjeeling Village – traditional Memba houses and cultural interaction, Suspension Bridge over River Yargyap Chu. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast, drive to Aalo (7–8 hours). En route, enjoy scenic viewpoints and visit local villages. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the evening, you may visit the local market. Overnight stay at Aalo.
After breakfast drive to Dibrugarh (07 hrs). This drive gives us the most scenic view of the River Siang. Enroute visit India’s longest rail cum road bridge – The Bogibeel Bridge built over the mighty Brahmaputra River. On arrival check in at bungalow . Overnight stay at Dibrugarh
In time transfer to Dibrugarh Airport to board flight for onward destination.
